We don't get snow very often here in Western WA, but the rare times that we do... we get alot. The whole area is in a panic (because no one is use to snow and NO ONE knows how to drive in it... lol!) Anyways, we thought it would be fun to take Cole out to see the snow. He has been looking out the window all day, going "ssss". That's how he says "snow". He has been really into assigning one sound per word. "Da" for dog or dad. "Du" for Duck. "Ba" for Ball. "Mi" for Milk. "Li" for Light (actually most the time he just mouths the letter L for this one without actually making any noise... it's really cute.) "Th" for Wreath or Bath. Sadly, he hasn't made any attempt to say Mom :( Poor me....
Okay, now for some pictures of Cole in the snow! I, of course, went overboard and took at least 30 pictures of him but here are just a few:
He was not happy about the whole snow pants and coat thing.
Here he is walking with Nick down the path leading to our front door.
You can see the deep path they had to make with their feet. Suprisingly, Cole's feet didn't get wet at all!

Okay, so this is what happened when he got one tiny little snowflake on his hand.
And then he fell.....
And freaked out!
Nick picked him up and brought him back to the front door. As soon as he was "safe" again, he immediately wanted to back out in the snow.
Nick tried to show him how to pick up the snow but he didn't really want to try it.
Finally, I was able to coax a smile out of him before going inside!

Hello?? Did Cole just get all his teeth in or what? :) What a cutie! I cant believe how much snow u guys got!! We got about the same, maybe a lil more. We better get a TONS more. Wish we were coming for Christmas....
